Dr Melissa Pearson, Veterinary

Dr. Melissa Pearson or Dr. P has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2009 after graduating from Massey University in New Zealand. Dr. Pearson has developed special interests in soft tissue surgery, small animal dentistry, ultrasound imaging, preventative medicine and the special needs of brachycephalic breeds. She joined Dr. Nichols at The Integrative Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2022 and looks forward to learning additional treatment modalities and alternative methods to healing her patients. She currently resides in Boone County with her husband Chad and her four rescued bulldogs.

Dr Pearson’s skill set and diverse practice interests and openness to learning alternative approaches, make her an ideal fit for The Integrative Veterinary Clinic. Her interests in ultrasound imaging and the clinic’s acquisition of imaging equipment, allow for TIVC to provide this extremely valuable diagnostic tool promptly for our patients. Dr. Pearson’s surgery skills and confidence performing complex procedures has been well-developed with her years of experience.
